Archie Shine 'Hamilton' Mid Century Single solid teak frame Chair
A beautifully stylised dining chair designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. British made, circa 1960.
Solid dark teak frame construct with tapered legs. The seat has an illusionary 'floating' design appearance alongside some very sleek angular lines. The unique shape and styling is amplified from every angle with this luxury geometric 'Electro Maze' textile designed by Eley Kishimoto for Kirkby Design.
“Inspired by the graphical beauty of circuit boards. Simplicity of linear elements and a maze-like intricate composition bring classic modernity to this design.” – Eley Kishimoto
“Circuit boards are a mass of cables and wires, what better way to add to this design than to weave it as a loop pile velvet. Incredibly soft and dense, the weave structure compliments the design perfectly.” – Jordan Mould, Kirkby Design
